Real laid back place deep in the west side of Buffalo. The employees there greet you when you come in and you can either sit yourself or they'll suggest where you can sit, your preference. There are a couple of choices in the menu I went there for the pizza they also have a bar that serves beer and wine and if you like dessert to finish everything off they have soft serve ice cream as well. The pizza was good with a nice and crispy bottom mild sauce sauce almost like a New York style pizza also when with a side order of garlic cheese bread which was also good. I scored this pizza a 7.1 out of 10 Luna's and the cheese garlic bread I scored at 8.2 out of 10 Luna's.
We wanted to try a local pizza place while vacationing. This seemed like a good fit, so we ordered $80 In pies. Unfortunately, the large pizza we ordered came out with blackened burnt crusts the entire perimeter of the pizza, and my group was really disappointed in the texture. The other pies we got weren 't as burnt, but they were smaller pizzas we got to try toppings. The main dish of the evening was deeply disappointing.
Concept good for worker owners , no tips, and fair wage for worker owned. However I saw extreme Gentrification in a neighborhood I grew up in ,Audis and Doctors in scrubs. These people are able to afford the inflated prices on menu. Food was good, but it wasn’t unique. I am happy for the worker owners to have pay that is fair and supports them. But would I go here again not sure…….. I do not support Gentrification. Five points area of Gentrification has always made me uncomfortable and Connecticut street as well. Taking neighborhoods putting high rises and pocket areas to attract hipsters and sub urban people.
Sicilian Pizza was by far the best pizza I’ve had to date. The atmosphere is very welcoming and has a very cool vibe. The idea of a tipless restaurant was something new to us but definitely a very respected decision coming from a table that also works in the food service. Could not recommend more!!!!
