Restaurant Silbergras - Büren

We were several times in silver grass and always very satisfied. The experience Essen has now been doubled by Silvestermenue 2018. Absolutely sharp. We are delighted and have heard it from many table neighbours. Class performance of the kitchen and service!!

After we had booked a table for our company Christmas freers for 10 people at an early stage (this was confirmed to us in writing), we now received a telephone cancellation in mid-November. An employee explained to us that a reservation for a large company with 80 people was accepted at that date, and therefore no table is available for us. Thus, we have been expelled quickly and without the slightest attempt to offer any compensation, ice-cold. Since it is virtually impossible to reserve a table for 10 people two weeks before the Advent season, this year our Christmas celebration falls in January. But certainly not, and never again in silvergrass!!!

Typical hotel restaurant, therefore price performance is fine. As a hotel guest you have an alternative.

The restaurant writes passionate culture for all senses with fresh, regional products on the flag and right in my eyes! But from the beginning: The gastronomic selection at Paderborn Airport is more manageable. So what to do to satisfy the appetite for something reasonable beyond candy, sandwiches, etc? The answer is the silver grave! The lift at the airport with reference to the hotel (and very small below the restaurant gives the impression of sterile airport hotel with snacks. Don't worry about trying. But the short way is worth it! I was surprised by the stylish, simple and yet cosy ambience, extremely nice staff and a pleasantly manageable map with regional dishes with a whipped. The greeting from the kitchen lets hope: pole cuts with tomato (so tomato taste at the pole cuts very good. I ordered baked couscous on ratatouille with pesto, mangochutney and wild herbs salad. The baked couscousballs were beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the vegetables with a nice lot of bites, pesto and mangochutney were also great. And the salad was dressed with a very fine dressing. The whole thing for fair 10,50€ (not forget: we are not here in a quick snack... . I have been very happy and come safely next time (then hopefully with more time! Thank you to the entire team and continue a lot of success!

Is not very cheap, but price fits. Also very friendly staff. At any time.
