Zum Edelweiss - Buenos Aires

I went with the idea of having pork, but ended up patting with salmon that was good, but too much for a person. I followed that with some fish and was not disappointed. Wash it with a crispy, dry white. Nice dinner.

I enjoyed eating here. Large Argentine/Mediterranean cuisine (meat and potatoes). The staff was also very friendly, even a few “on the house” treats; Sherry and Limoncello. Try all meat dishes (Milanesa Napolitana and pair it with some potatoes). Although the decor is what it is (set in and early 1900s building), a little more upkeep seems fine.

We've been looking for lunch at the Colon Theater Division. The food was simply great, including vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable and the service is attentive.

Nice old school restaurant in the Theater District of BA. Varied menu, decent wine list and friendly staff make this a pleasure before or after a show at Teatro Colón. Does get busy on show nights after 10 so a reservation is advisable. Only takes Visa and Amex as of 6/2019.

During our recent first visit to Buenos Aires, we looked for a a good steak restaurant. Chose Edelweiss. We were not disappointed!! Service was excellent. Complementary white wine to start and a drink with our coffee. The steak was excellent. We went to two other restaurants, but none could match the service and food quality of Edelweiss. We regret not having gone back to Edelweiss. Highly recommend. And very good value. 60.00 for two, including a bottle of wine, coffee and dessert.
