This restaurant is not in the usual tourist byways, whch in my opinion is a definite plus....They serve a heavily Jewish sector of the city, which is to say they serve a clientele that knows its mideastern shawarmas.
Don't let the bare bones aspect of this little place fool you. It may be a hole in the wall but this was the best kosher food we had in Argentina. The shwarma is made with briskit meat, which I have never experienced before. The...kebab is wonderful, so much so that we narrowly decided against getting a second round to go (shwarma and kebab in pita with hummus doesn't travel well). Restaurant takes cash; no credit cards. My USA-based debit card didn't work. Prices are extremely reasonable. Staff speaks Spanish only but you can get by through references to the menu, gestures and (if you have it) some basic Spanish.
This is a kosher restaurant in the heart of the Jewish neighborhood in Buenos Aires. My husband and I had the best shawarma we have ever eaten here. In fact, it was so good that we went back the next night and ordered the same...thing. We've had shawarma in Israel, France, Italy, and the USA. Nothing can compare to this place!!!
We went with my partner because we had been recommended by a friend. the truth is that it exceeded our expectations: attention was fast and efficient. I asked for a big falafel that comes with potatoes and my husband lajmayin and kipes, freshly made. we're going back and take advantage of the promotion of 12x10 units.
We went to get food for our journey on route, we bought vegetables and lajmayin closed. amazing! the taste a trip! the excellent attention, as we were early and were just opening the lady offered us all the solutions. Moreover it is well homemade, you see them shaking through a door. every time we get back to the **** we're going!
