Sorrento Recova - Buenos Aires

Years ago we went there for lunch, the weekend of the week, when they have a special menu. You still have the menu, but it's not what it was earlier. It's not bad, but on average. Thank God the waiter was friendly and very efficient. The value is still good

The waiter was very accommodating. We ordered two different pasta dishes so we could share. He led us to a good bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner. Then came the heavenly dessert. We tried to share the dessert that came with 5 different desserts: cream brûlée, flan, hatch warm apple cake, chocolate mousse and ice cream with red berries. They were all so good, and the waiter guaranteed that there were no calories except the tiny bit we couldn't finish. That was the best service we had on our journey to Argentina.

Please, don't go. Waiters are rude. Eating is expensive. Puerto madero was not to visit at all.

Sorrento Posadas is one of the best for pastas, ours was delicious. Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Location is good, Calle Posadas right across the Four Seasons Hotel. Same place is Piegari Carnes and two or three more restaurants. Recommended !

This was open at 7.30 for dinner, early by Argentine standards. The service was very efficient and the food excellent by any standard.
