Resto Sociedad Central de Arquitectos

This modest café, located in the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos building opposite the Museo del Holocausto, is a real discovery. The menu offers a wide selection of participants and starters. We chose the delicious beef 'Heffer', which was a perfectly prepared steak syrup with roasted tomatoes, basil and a cheese Torta $10). Lunch is accompanied with an incredible bread basket with five kinds of bread and rolls as well as a free meat empanada. For dessert we enjoyed the melted chocolate cake served with ice cream and caramel sauce dulce de leche) $5. Service was friendly and very attentive. Such a lunch for two USD$35 is really incredible!

Lunch. Could this place be sweet!!?? Service was excellent! Somehow, this lunch turns into a 5-course menu because of all the extra stuff they only bring you! Try the Anisbrot in the bread basket. The entries were great. I can't recommend this place enough.

We were blown away from this place, fine food without the fine meal day. The service was unbelievable, delicious food and we left filled after the 3 courses, free Amuse Bouche and amazing breads. A must to visit if you need a break from the steakhouses!

This unusual, tiny restaurant is a fun, welcome change from the typical BA restaurants. The food was excellent, although the menu is small. We recommend it.

Very friendly and welcoming even with our poor Spanish! Superb food and they matched glasses of unusual but very high quality wines to the dishes making it a very special occasion and a wonderful exploration of food and wine. Few tables so attentive service. Set in the University Architecture department, so no big name outside so not obvious to find. Came first for lunch, enjoyed it so much came back for dinner when we returned to Buenos Aires.
