Munich Recoleta - Buenos Aires

This used to be a classical restaurant in Buenos Aires, located in one of the best neighborhoods, Recoleta. It was almost empty at noon. My chicken was tasteless, fries were almost cold and paid 30us$ per head (no wine and share a dessert). My friend order a Chicken Kiev (a classic here) and it was to hard to eat. Avoid the restaurant and Recoleta was dirty and most of the restaurants are closed.

Stay simple, the salads mixed vegetables to your taste. Tortilla Española or huevos manchego, always very good tuna fish, and wonderful steaks Bife de Chorizo or Lomo. Real Argentine home cooking modestly priced

We were hungry and needed lunch after walking through Recoleta. We checked out the menu and the fact that there were others in the restaurant. It was a MISTAKE!We ordered tomato soup - straight up WATERY campbell's (BAD) and I ordered langostinos salad (got some BABY shrimp on some lettuce leaves) and my friend ordered chicken and potatoes- came with some nasty dark brown gravy ALL over it... Don't go here! Keep walking and find a better place!

Very good location in the heart of Recoleta, a fancy neighborhood in BAires. Should have had glory days but now... asked a Shimp Mayo, not available... Asked a Sauvignon Blanc, not available also... fair prices though...

In the Recoleta since time immemorial is has provided very good argentina / italian food at reasonable prices. Well worth frequent visits!
