La Bumon - Buenos Aires

Santiago offered new approaches to wine tasting that I had never experienced. Its carefully selected local wines, paired with the exquisitely prepared dishes, would be a pleasure for every foodman.

Casa Coupage was our first dinner in our 14-day Argentina tour. Every single dinner after that was compared with Casa Coupage and none came close. Santiago has an incredible and intimate culinary experience that focuses on hand-picked wines and a curated culinary experience to adapt the profile of these wines. He would ask us first to taste the wine, to describe the taste, even to guess at the Varietal, then try the wine with the food to see how it develops. The food from the cook was incredible and it was the only best piece of meat we had in a country known for beef. It was so great that we tried to go at the end of our trip, but unfortunately everything was sold at this point. When you go to Argentina, Casa Coupage is a must for every food wine lover.

Unfooled! This culinary experience can hardly be described with words, as it is a must to go. It is an opportunity to spend some longer time with a very knowledgeable and extremely friendly owner of the restaurant. His wisdom about wine and pairings with the amazing food offerings was nothing less than wonderful. The food was truly spectacular, like the attentive service of the staff. It is a very warm and intimate environment that stimulates good moods and great memories. As a.bonus we were able to meet the chef who prepared the gastronomic pleasures we have consumed with great joy.

Wow! We had a wonderful experience in Casa Coupage. Santiago was the owner and host and explained all about the wines with such enthusiasm and passion they were all exceptional) The food prepared by Paco, a very talented cook was absolutely wonderful. That was all together with a beautiful couple we met there... what a night. If you have the opportunity to visit this place... do it!!!

This was a fantastic food and wine pairing experience. 7 courses of delicious food expertly paired with several wines. Santiago and his wife were gracious hosts and made the whole night very enjoyable. They also went out of their way to accommodate food allergies and restrictions. I thought it was very reasonably priced given the quality of the food and wine. If you can get a reservation book it! You will be in for a treat!
