Impresso Cafe - Buenos Aires

We stopped for lunch during our visit to the bookstore. the food was fine, but we were very disappointed in the service: very, very slow to make the order, to get the requested food, to get water and the account; antipathic waitress in general. It's not a nice experience.

This is a great place to hang out, but the service is more than terrible, even for ba standards. They ignored us while the tabletops were served promptly, we had to beg by menus (we could finally get only one, but never the English they promised us) and clean our table. server was hosco.

This coffee is located on the old stage of the bookstore the athenaeum. We stopped for coffee and it was great. a big thunderstorm led us to transform the coffee into lunch. My husband ate a sandwich and I a cake. both were ham, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and were pretty good. But while we ate, we keep looking at the bookstore with our eyes. my oh my. What a place!

While visiting the bookstore on a rainy day, we take tea and coffee to take a break from the walk. the coffee is on stage of the old theater. the two drinks cost about $ 7 od. something expensive, but probably keeps the store open. the service was good and the wifi connection was available free of charge.

My husband had a sandwich and I had a torta. Both were ham,...cheese, sun dried tomatoes and they were quite good. But while we were eating, we keep ogling the bookstore. My oh my. What a place!
