Our youngest son is a vegetarian (with fish) and we found lots of options. Most dishes are designed to share which I highly recommend since you will want to try most of the menu. Reservations might be good.
The Asian food scene in Buenos Aires is very hit or miss, but Green Bamboo is one of the very few gems among the many many mediocre restaurants I 've tried over the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Service was excellent. We ordered 3 appetizers to share. The spicy sauce was actually spicy, another rarity in a very spicy-averse city. Each main dish also incredibly delicious. The restaurant has a tiki-bar vibe, with an area for seating on floor cushions, as well as regular tables or booths. There is also a bar and a bar seating area, and outside tables for fresh air. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. They are very knowledgeable about the food and encourage questions. My only disappointment was that the menu, already a little limited, had several items I wanted to try marked 'sold out '. I hope that gets remedied by our next visit, which will certainly be very soon! Don 't miss!
Wonderful service. started with a delicious cocktail in the Vietnam-avant guard atmosphere. Ordered the dumplings as an appetizer and the lemongrass curry as an entree. Hospitality was excellent. Flavors exceptional.
We didn’t book and being a Friday night we had to sit at the bar. It wasn’t an issue as we got to watch the barman mixing the cocktails. He was very good at his job and chatted to us while he worked. The food and service were superb. It was Vietnamese with slight twists. All very tasty and light. Highly recommended
