El Gauchito - Buenos Aires

I was curious to try empanadas in Argentina, but those of El Gauchito surpassed my expectations. The best!

Many Empanada joints in the city have tried in recent weeks, these are the most tasty. They have a selection of about 8 fillings, many suitable for vegetarians. You get to hear everyone who comes to comment here to eat positively on the taste. The empanadas... come with a sauce to die for!

You know, the food must be good when all locals eat there, and this place was no different. The prices were low, and the food was great! Better than fast restaurants in the area and cheaper too- if you want empanadas, this is... the place to get them.

From the road the entrance to El Gauchito is like a small cave, the walls with photos and pictures festive. Nachito by Rosario, supported by Juan, has this characteristic place for a decade. They serve the best empanadas in Buenos Aires ...for two reasons: content and quality. Stephanie likes the regular empanadas, I love fried them. Eat in or take away. This is fast food, slowly made in a lovingly tasteful way and served with friendly smiles.

A true find for empanadas affectionados. And their house wine is better than a lot of restaurants. Great hospitality make friends with the guys behind the counter. They only take Pesos.
