De Los Frutos - Buenos Aires

This is a great place for lunch for sandwiches, wraps and a soup of the day. Most customers come for take-out, but there are about 12 seats if you want to stay there and eat. The service is very friendly and it seems that there are many repeat customers.

Usually, when you sort a place you start detailing what good things they have. This place has everything. Food is delicious and healthy, kids in the place are very useful and the environment is great. Recommend 100%. Normally when I recommend a place I make a balance between what it offers. Wraps, salads and bagels with salmon, pulled pig, vegetables, crisp 'rucula' salads and more (all sauces from scratches) with wonderful spirit and style delivered by the brothers De los Frutos and company. During my order, I met flight crews from Europe who heard it with mouth propaganda. Appropriate price, mostly take-out, but there are a few tables inside. Great for these weekdays while exploring Retiro and surroundings. Open M-F until 3:00. Very popular among the surrounding office workers who are usually well visited and not married to traditional Argentine cuisine. All sandwiches and salads are named for a special customer of the facility. Locals say, 'buena honda', which translates; 'good vibes. '

Unless you stay in a four-star hotel, breakfast in Buenos Aires, Argentina is not what you might experience in North America. We visited De los Frutos for our breakfast. The attention we received was really incredible. The menu consisted of fresh fruits, sandwiches, wraps and salads with soup of the day. The prices are good. Your coffee was also wonderful. They offer a rich, fresh and healthy super menu.
