Andreas welcomed us with enthusiasm and warm welcome. His English was excellent and very welcoming. He offered his menu suggestions to ask what we like to eat in an Italian restaurant. He warned that parts are big and should be divided. The atmosphere was a small key that made the meal very pleasant. If you want authentic with excellent value, it is a must try. We'll be back on our next trip to Buenos Aires. Robert and Ann from Ontario, Canada
Ordnete the Carbonara, usually with certain regimens, for example, cured ham, the right cheese and egg, it is simply cooked by the simple procedure They prepare the ham and oil and the necessary cream and egg with a hint of pepper. What I received were over boiled noodles, the sauce tasted like it came out of a can it was watery I had to add the amounts of cheese and pepper to make it it necessary to make it edema - the Carbonara deficiency taste other ingredients were required of poor quality to perfect the dish, the cured ham previously frozen it tasted as it tasted from the delirack, Limper Apparently, the manager wanted to lie directly to me and tell me that they did this slop, a version of “” Spanish Carbonara” just ran away. As a waiter who knew that the pasta was bad, asked me why I tried a few bites, my Italian grandmother, who lived through depression and hard times in Italy, never wasting food. She was an excellent cook who knew how to prepare even edge ingredients correctly to give taste. She respected the cooking process and preparation. This restaurant has no such respect. The service was good, the meal was one of the worst I actually had as a former waiter, and I rarely cook restaurant. I understand the effort and hard work it needs to prepare food, but in this case the management was incapable and did not want to improve this product. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. Buy a can pasta with sauce and heat it on you will likely be a better food Buenos Aires has so many excellent Italian restaurant Unfortunately this is a too expensive scam The manager who said he was hoping to be the new owner should be ashamed of his behavior
Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we asked for an Italian restaurant, but nothing too formal or imagination as we were tired from a long day. Broccolini was a perfect fit. The restaurant looks pretty small, but there is a larger area around the corner from where we sat when you have a larger group. The staff was nice, the food was great and the restaurant manager was a character and a great host during the night that added us a lot to our evening. The free Limoncellos he sent were also a nice touch and we almost felt we were in someone's house. I rarely order Lasagna out how I was a great, but her was excellent! If you are looking for a fun, casual and also a cheap Italian dinner in Buenos Aires, this is the place.
When we arrived at 2 pm, the restaurant was nearly full, but our party of 5 was led through the kitchen to a second dining room that was not as busy. We sat for quite awhile before anyone approached us to take our order. We weren’t in any hurry so that didn’t bother us all that much. The servings of pasta are substantial so my wife and I shared an order of sorrentinos (stuffed) pasta with puttanesca sauce. We also split an order of fried calamari. The calamari portion was larger than anticipated so we actually had more food than we needed. The waiter (Andres) had the kitchen split the pasta portion into two bowls to make it easy for us to share. Andres brought us shots of limoncello after our meal which was a nice way to end the meal.
