The restaurant located on the 3rd floor inside the OC Source and it opened until midnight. Our group choose to eat at the BBQ section. We ordered the M Beef Combo Large and the M Pork Combo Small. The price was a little higher than average, but you had your waiter to do all the grilling for you. So, sit back, relax and just enjoy the meat. Our waiter always checked whether we need anything. The meat is cooked perfectly, 10 out of 10. The tips is already included, but it is worth it, so I have no complaint about this. Overall, our group will come back to this place.
I had reserved a private room for about 12 people. Had to change date, called again (next day, same time). Finally got a count of ppl coming and called to tell them. This is the 3rd different person I spoke to than the other two times. Even though they have private rooms, it is not really designed for large groups. I told them I had 15 people which included 2 small kids. He spoke to a manager who said they'll do 15 but we'll have to cook ourselves. Ok. I agreed. Get there and they don't have the private room. I asked 2 different people to check. No one gets back to me. Ready to ask a 3rd person and the manager comes. Says she can't do 15 in private room. It will be too cramped. So they had set us up at another group of tables. We can have 8 together and another group at another table. We settled for that. Finally got it settled. The manager was apologetic. She was nice. The food was very good. Note, tho, they do not have chicken. Mostly just offer beef pork. We got the seafood green onion pancake. It was very good. They have an egg dish that was also excellent. Rice is extra, $2 for a small bowl. So, all in all, great place for food. Service is good. Just don't plan a large party (if you don't mind not sitting together, then ok).
A nice Korean pub affair with a charming aesthetic and large portions for rather expensive food. Although the prices may seem big (in 2023, what isn't), do have a look around first to see what the portion size is. The portions are fairly generous, and it should also be noted. It should also be noted that there is a forced 10% fee on top of the food, but no tip so even though it seems pricey it's a flat fee.Good food, though not that many options for people who don't like spicy things, and limited options for vegetarian and vegan stuff. On the smaller side of restaurants, I wouldn't expect to fit a group above 10 super easily.
We got our names on the wait-list, but luckily didn't have to wait too long to get seated. Prices seem to be on the high side, but the portions are huge and easily shared among four people. Prices include tip, so no math needed! The service was friendly but slow. We had to flag down whoever we saw, which was a bit of a hassle. But they were nice, so there's that.Skip the banana milk makgeolli—it tasted way too artificial. But the stir-fried pork belly with kimchi and the soy garlic fried chicken were winners. So tasty! However, the stir-fried beef brisket was disappointing. It was mostly mung bean sprouts with little beef. The interior had a cool alley vibe going on, which added to the experience.
