Arrived for dinner on a Friday night. No trolley service. Only able to order from a menu which you couldn't read on an outside table as virtually no lighting.Had wait for around 10 minutes for wine glasses and an ice bucket which had no ice in it as they ran out of ice!!$5.00 corkage for byo wine. They also ran out of certain dishes. This was enough to make us leave without ordering.Try somewhere else.
This place is fine if you are shopping at the Plaza and want a quick lunch or dinner. If I was to travel here specifically for dinner, I would be disappointed. We had a table of 12 of us and fortunately to great company made up for the fact that meal was entirely forgettable. The service is awkward and we found language barriers an issue. In the end we just accepted whatever wine and food was bought to us. There was a problem with the bill at the end of the evening (we were billed twice for 2 meals), however we able to eventually resolve it. They did allow us to split the bill.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and after we were seated were promptly told that the kitchen was closing soon so we should hurry with our order... Not one staff member smiled or made an effort to be friendly. Food was average. No music. No atmosphere. By the time we left there was one poor staff member running around doing everything while the rest of the staff sat at the back table eating lunch.
I love yum cha, but this place is like the mcdonalds of yum cha, the food is ok and the serivce is ok but the price is outrage for yum cha
