StringOzzi Pasta Mooloolaba - Buderim

This is one of those times when "you could have knocked me over with a feather" is so appropriate. My wife had picked me up from the Bowling Club across the road and I had promised we'd go out for tea. Little did she know I'd been here once before and had some idea just how she'd react.There certainly is nothing attractive about the dingy shops surrounding this little eatery but don't let that deter you. There isn't even a whole lot about the shop entrance or interior to draw you in: but don't let that deter you. This place does one thing only: PASTA and does it superbly.The large version of any selection is more than enough for the two of us to share. On this occasion it was a fettuccini pasta with a chicken pesto sauce. And it was an absolute delight! So much so that my wife stated it was the best pasta she's ever had and I wasn't about to argue with that claim. Despite the lack of signage about being BYO you can bring your own alcohol with you and if you've forgotten there is a BWS shop just two doors down.This place is a little gem and my wife tried to stop me from writing such a glowing review because it would lead to the place becoming crowded as more and more people discovered it. But the truth must be told.P.S. you can also order your meal as a takeaway.

Had the chicken cacciatore, very disappointed all pasta not much sauce. Service was great, had the creamy sauces before they too bit too much pasta.

Had meals before but the chicken cacciatore was dissapointing, hardly any sauce. Mooloolaba store sunshine coast qld. Will think twice about going back.

I had the Rigatoni with Chicken pesto sauce which was of a very good quality and the regular portion was plentiful especially at only $14.This place is also a bit different as they make all the pastas and sauces on site so it has a more homemade taste and feel to it.If I want a good pasta dish again this would now be my first choice

Exactly what I needed today! Such lovely friendly staff and incredible food! My partner and I had takeaway and were so very impressed! The homemade pasta was delightfully light and silky. I usually get really bloated after pasta and I still feel fine! Flavoursome, wholesome, delicious!
