Padthai Wokbar - Budapest

Some friends of mine received from this place when I visited Budapest this summer. Unfortunately, they didn't know about my mild peanut allergy so they got me a dish with peanuts. I could eat around with it, but it wasn't pleasant. The dessert they got me was really nice.

Pad Thai is a great place to eat some tasty thai food with non-vegan friends. You should tell the waiters that you are vegan and they will explain to you what ingredients you can choose from. You cannot have the base sauce for the main meal and those sauces that you can put on your meal yourself either. There are also vegan soup and dessert options available. Definitely delicious food for reasonable price, servings could be somewhat smaller and sometimes it is not clear what vegan is and what is not, staff can help you though

Had the pad Thai vegan version with tofu! It tasted good but not like an ordinary pad Thai in my opinion. Staff is helpful with what is vegan and not, ask them! Portions were pretty good according to the price Updated from previous review on 2023-07-24
