KollÁzs Brasserie Four Seasons Gresham Palace

Andrea welcomed us when we entered the restaurant. She was kind and helpful. Our server, Norbert, was wonderful. He was attentive but not overly so. The food was delicious. We are leaving Budapest tonight otherwise we would go back. The ambiance is stunning. Andrea went above and beyond and wrote me a little note on a postcard depicting the Gresham palace. Highly recommend.

Had the worst service at Kollazs yesterday night (July 23, 2023). Our server forgot one of the drinks ordered, which he apologized for after we asked about it. He then gave our friend a complimentary red wine instead. Additionally, no server came up to us for the whole 2 hours we were there to ask if we needed more water. I ordered mussels, and I was not given a bowl for the shells. When the server noticed I was putting the shells on the bread plates, he then took the plate with my mussel fork. On top of that, it took so long to get our food orders even though the place was not packed. When we asked for the bill, that also took long to arrive. We were really disappointed after a wonderful experience at Cafe Liszt and the Sky Bar in the Aria Hotel. We just expected the same at another 5-star restaurant since the 14% service charge is included in the bill.

Good food and ambiance, very good table service thank you Barna, and also a very good presentation, history lesson of the building (top of the charts interior design/art nouveau style), restaurant, hotel and brasserie done by Andrea, who was very welcoming! For sure we will come back.

I highly recommend the Blind date with the chef and the sommelier

I would absolutely recommend Kollázs to anybody looking for a special night out. The food was incredible, service was fantastic, and the ambience was lovely. Excellent experience.
