Zeller Bistro

Very nicely decorated place with an amazing atmosphere. The live music created a nice and friendly environment and the service by the staff was excellent. The food was very good as well but I would like a bit more attention to the cooking level of the steak.

Great food at a very good price. The cuisine is not traditional Hungarian but more of a modern touch. Be sure to make a reservation as it is a very popular restaurant. They have a great selection of wines and a solid menu. Don't forget to check the daily specials on the separate card.

I went recently with a large group of colleagues. The food was delicious. We had a set menu since we had prearranged for such a large group (about 25 people), so I’m not sure if we had the same items from the regular menu or not, but if the salad with goat cheese is on the menu, definitely don’t skip it! It was fabulous and almost a light meal in itself. The dessert was a coconut panacotta that was also delicious. Our only complaint was that the service was rather slow, but that may be just because of the size of our group.

Amazing place for Hungarian food, and not the typical goulash and paprika chicken. I went with my mother on a Friday night. We had made a reservation earlier in the week by sending an email. They had responded promptly and been very accommodating. They welcomed us with a complimentary drink. We ordered the grey beef and the venison steak, as well as chocolate mousse and the cheesecake for dessert. The food was excellent especially the venison. They had a large selection of wine we both had the house wine, which was good. The service was great, and the overall atmosphere was lovely. When we were there, they had live acoustic music, which was a nice touch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting/living in Budapest!

We got two drinks for welcoming us while entering Zeller. The service is nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant is awesome as well! Highly recommend for the daily fish risotto, it’s amazing! The only thing we don’t like is our cocktail. It will be better to order wine than cocktail. Overall is nice to have dinner here!
