The food goes far beyond most tavern farewell I had by far-- I ordered the Jalapeno Mac a cheese because I wanted comfort food in a cold night and it was the best I ever eaten. If I had been alone in my own kitchen at home, and this stuff was sitting on the counter, it'd be all in vain. On an earlier occasion I ordered a hamburger and - as far as I remember all the hamburgers I had eaten in my life, theirs were also the best. I didn't crack you. They. Best, hamburger. Someone sitting next to me ordered the chicken and Andouille sausage rubber and I wanted it too! Good selection of beer and wine and handcrafted cocktails. Tavern owner Julie R. keeps the place modest, knows most of their customers and pay attention. The mood is decidedly friendly--a Cheers type setting where everyone knows your name. In the conversation with Juiie I discovered her true passion is the live music that comes and goes-- I'm almost spoken in Carson McHone Accoustic on Friday. Yes. Great food and drinks, excellent service, live music and great prices... Tavern on Main is a popular stop!

This place has some of the best food in Buda. Super friendly staff. And it's one of my favorite places to just take it, listen to music or watch football.

I love this place. Casual, small town feel with a friendly staff. I was surprised by the delicious food path over typical bar food expectations! Try the hummus plate and the Cuban sandwich. Yum!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to review The Tavern on Main! This is our go-to place in Buda. The staff is amazing, the food is phenomenal, and the beer is always cold. I wanted to post about a great experience with the staff but I couldn't pick just one and naming them all and how amazing they are would make this a much longer review than I have time to write at them moment. Bottom line is: Go to The Tavern on Main!
