Bob Evans - Bucyrus

We stopped in for supper on a Friday night. Not too busy we got right in. Good was fine and we had great service. Everything was just as one would expect at a Bob Evans. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I ordered something that was supposed to be chicken, but it was terrible and I couldn't eat it. The service was okay. I dined in for dinner and the price per person was $1-10. The atmosphere was decent with a rating of 4. Recommended dishes include mashed potatoes with gravy and the family size green beans with ham.

This restaurant is extremely unprofessional. Upon entering, I witnessed the hostess and staff flirting with each other instead of attending to customers. They did not inquire if I had a to-go order or needed to be seated; instead, they were play fighting, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. After eventually being seated, the server was friendly. However, it took approximately 30 minutes for our food to arrive despite there being only two other tables. It seemed like the managers were in the back goofing off with the staff, making disgusting and crude jokes. Additionally, the managers were taking smoke breaks instead of helping the servers, leaving them feeling overwhelmed. This establishment lacks professionalism and should be closed down.

We will not be going back to the local place. Each time the food got worse. The breaking point was when I received a bowl of uncooked Cheesy potato soup that was not cooked. The potatoes were hard . The onion rings were burnt . Previous at the same Bob Evans I had a new chicken sandwich that I really enjoyed. That was soon changed the next time it took was it was over cooked and I returned it. Just to be told that the cook said it had to be cooked like that to be done. I have cooked privately and for the public long enough to want to tell the person they definitely did not know how to cook. This all happened at the same place. I will be going to Cracker Barrel from now on.
