We were a large group, so posters were organized for us: humus, eggplant, tzatziki, marinated mushrooms and...Aubergines, followed by mixed grilled meat with crushed onion and purple cabbage. It was absolutely fantastic. Would go back to a flash. Elegantly decorated with kilos on the walls.
Near Timpuri Noi Metro Station, this restaurant surprises me with excellent Turkish dishes served in large portions, fast service and beautiful interior architecture at very affordable prices. I strongly recommend it.
We were in this restaurant yesterday. First impression: empty, with the exception of 2 customers (about 6:00 pm), and smell of food in the air (not the appealing type of smell). We were hungry, so decided to give him a chance. At first there was no waiter in sight, but after 5 7 minutes appeared. We chose both Adana Kebap and Ayran. The food came fast and the meat was good, ayran was out of the bottle, not made at home as in some other Turkish restaurants, but all acceptable until now. The biggest mistake was to order a desert. I chose Kunefe it is true that none of those I tried in Bucharest even near those I ate in Turkey (my husband, the Turkish suggested that it was because of the type of cheese they use here), so I was somehow prepared that it did not taste big, but considering that the food was ok, I would not expect the desert THAT BAD! I was not far from the truth: it looked rather brownish rather than yellow golden, a bit burned at the edges, and the layer of cheese impossible to chew it had the consistency of a rubber I didn't know whether it wasn't properly cooked or just not fresh. did not even get 2 bites of it and asked for the bill. My mood was completely spoiled. The waitress said no word. She saw that I barely touched the desert, could at least ask if something is wrong, or apologise for the lowest quality desert... but none of her part I didn't want to argue and ruin my evening more so that we just paid and left. In other Turkish restaurants in Bucharest that we visited, even if the waiters were Romanians, they offered a good customer service, but here is not the case. Too bad they are not interested in keeping their customers. I gave him a 3* rating only because the Adana Kebap was quite good, and would otherwise, strictly return for food, but the attitude of the staff will not even think, come back or recommend it to everyone!
Having eaten at Mado next door and experiencing Turkish fast food not impressed) I was worried about eating at this sit-down restaurant. I should not have been! We were a large group so platters were organised for us: humus, aubergine, tzatziki, marinated mushrooms and...aubergines followed by mixed grilled meats with shredded onion and purple cabbage. It was all absolutely fantastic. Would go back in a flash. Elegantly furnished with kilims on the walls.
Very close to Timpuri Noi subway station, this restaurant surprised me with excellent turkish dishes served in big portions, fast service and nice interior design at quite convenient prices. I strongly recommend it.
