AGO Restaurant - București

We were really disappointed. Welcome cold, they get the feeling, they are not welcome. we want to order a bottle of champagne. if they think that's simple, they're wrong. the first, the second not available. many champagne in the list are not...available finally we ordered a bottle dom perignon. as the openend of the bottle of champagne, the champagne had room temperature. you can't drink. they do not change the bottle, what they put on ice. the bottle cost was okay. the black cod was amaizing. as dessert. only dessert. no sorbet only vanilla or chocolat. that's all, a bog shand, then how we pay, we didn't check the bill because we are not the people who always check. we took a bill of ron that we tipped. when we checked the bill and we saw that the fee percentage of tip in the bill, which is not normal in herastrau. I talked to the waiter because the manager is arrogant to talk to guests. the threat you like is a stupid person. really, it's a shame we never go there. I've never seen such a behavior in my life.

We went there on april st. georges holiday in romania. I personally made a reservation and talked about the exact table for the (other polite) receptor. the table was not prepared when we arrived, though the restaurant was almost empty. the dinge drove along the...same lines: some of the spits were delicious (the bypinate and brokkoli) but the desert left to wish (big portions, only not very attractive as taste and look). there was only one choice for fish! the waiters were polite and worried, but not too professional. the big attraction with this restaurant remains the place (on the herastrausee) and the beautiful terrace and the garden. it is a pity that they can not have a special culinary experience in such a beautiful place!

Terrible and slow service, but beautiful view and gentle music. would not come back, unambiguous. it is not worth writing about it.

I was there for a dinner with some friends. we were informed before that the service is not the best one. I would rate service as average (they did not make big mistakes, but are not proactive and when they bring you the food are...asking who what ordered). food was good, but nothing special and if you look for the price/value, for sure it is not a good value for money. the terrace is having a very good location and view, but not worth paying for the view. better take a seat or walk in Herastrau park.

I was friends in this restaurant. I found a very comfortable plave, beautiful environment, good eating, helpful people. I felt like home. recommended for couples who want a romantic dinner in a quiet place. beautiful surroundings also have a small walk.
