Przekaż informację zwrotnąLocal is definitely not for every taste. But if you are looking for a cozy, non-pretentious, hidden, not mainstream type of space, you will no longer see. In the former home of the great actor Birlic, local still holds the vintage touch of this time and... the others who made it. The food is really delicious and the guys at the bar are more than friendly! In summer you can stay outside, the atmosphere is very intimate, while extremely relaxed.
Central location, good food (also vegetarian dishes) and music; friendly dog Eugen. The interior seems like an old fashioned (wouldn't say vintage) apartment from the communist times. Minus: easy to miss the entrance because there's no sign anywhere, except for a not so easy to spot name on the...gate. Bike friendly.
The first thing which strikes, is the atmosphere, full of commies memorabilia, ranging from furniture, to accessories. I called it hipster's Kapital like a capital city and with K because the restaurant name is with K. The second thing to strike is the food. The burger...is a must. Yes, it might be considered a tiring note, not another burger place, but trust me. Please make sure you order it medium rare. Drinks, such as lemonade, are served in unconventional manner, jars : Last, but not least, if the weather is nice, make sure you enjoy the garden as well.
A friend and I were eating at a restaurant across the road and we strolled into this bar. Originally we weren’t sure if this was an open bar or house party but we continued walking in and so glad we did, it’s a fantastic bar...full of locals, you feel like your just chilling at a great house party and drinks are super cheap. Perfect if you want to explore more of what Bucharest has to offer
When you're tired of the old town and need something different to do make sure you make the effort to visit Lokal. It's hidden away, and can be difficult to find but it is worth it. Totally different to any pub/restaurant I know of in...Bucharest. It's a big old town house, full of vintage/communist ephemera. The staff are very friendly and helpful do go!
