La Kostas - Bucharest

The service was terrible. The food was bad. They also charged us for the bill. We definitely don't go there anymore.

I think this is one of the best Greek restaurants in Bucharest and the few who really know how to cook sea fruit. The portions were generous and we had a very pleasant dinner overall. I really recommend if you want some decent sea of fruit or fish in Bucharest. My husband ordered traditional pork dishes and appetizers and he was also satisfied with the quality.

We had dinner in Kostas. Food was very good, as well as the service. The place was clean and they respected the rules regarding the pandemic.

The menu doesn't corespond with the menu on the website On the website the calamar was 18 RON and in the restaurant 48 RON

We are frequent travelers and we also enjoy eating out, but what we encountered here is UNACCEPTABLE and never happened to us. We visited the place for lunch in order to eat sea bass, which is our favorite fish. The waiter told us that he...recommended us to have another type of fish, which is fresher and one half of that fish is about the size of 2 sea basses because they had sea basses of 400 grams each and he could cook for us half of that fish and we could share it. We accepted, not knowing what is about to happen. The fish arrived, it was overcooked and very dry. We ate better fish even in restaurants not specialized in fish/seafood cooking. At the end, on the bill, even if the waiter told us that the size of the fish was about equal to 2 sea basses meaning 800 g the bill was for 2 kg of fish !!!! which also had the price double compared to the sea bass. So the bill was 4 times what we intended to pay for a lunch!!! And the food was mediocre!!! AVOID this restaurant! They are SCAMMERS! They should receive a complaint because the fish that was billed to us, wasn’t even in the menu!!!
