We ended up ordering a vegan appetizer and main course. The main dish was delicious and the portion size was great for the price (the vegan option was 2€ cheaper). The server was very friendly and was fluent in Spanish, French, and English. She even provided us with an English menu. It was a pleasant surprise for her when I spoke French and we had a nice conversation.
I ordered the only vegan option on the menu that day and found it to be bland and overpriced. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold due to the manager's decision to keep the door open.
Apart from the Causushi I couldn't find anything vegan on the normal menu. I personally didn't like the taste of the Causushi at all. It consists of cold rolls of smashed potato with different options of fillings such as tofu, sweet potato, quinoa, tomato, etc... The staff was very friendly even though our waitress only spoke spanish and french, but they even did a personalized roll for us that usually cannot be done... for me this food was not good at all and a bit weird but my husband liked it so I guess it depends on your taste. Plus it is always good to try something different. The causushi is 15 euros all you can eat (April/2017)
I first found this restaurant two years ago and since then, they have made a great effort to expand their vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere feels like home. Eating out in Brussels can be challenging, especially when you're the only vegan in your group of friends. Dimension Latina is a great alternative. I highly recommend trying their causushi nights - it's delicious!
Very attentive and warm welcome. typical Peruvian dishes and frames. Let's go back.
