The Great Impasta - Brunswick

Decent food. Service was ok, nothing special. The bus boy did more for us than our waitress. We came for lunch and got seated promptly. Waitress wasn’t very helpful but not rude. The young man clearing tables and seating people was the nicest of all 3 of them. A+ for him. Food was ok, got the fettuccine Alfredo; Olive Garden has a better dish but this was ok. Split the vegetable sandwich which was ok. Didn’t leave eager to return but would return in the future. Much better food options around, tho!

This was the best food that we had on a week long vacation. Loved it. The service was great and it was a great time. The waitress was a sweet girl.

Called ahead at noon for seating at 6pm. Was talked into 5:45pm. Arrived at 5:35, and still had a 30-40 minute wait. So much for ‘call ahead seating’!

Called ahead and had a 20 min wait or so when we got there, not bad considering how crowded they were. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Our server was Anna, and she was wonderful. The food was descent. My boyfriend wasn't a big fan of the food but my salad and carbonara were delicious.

First and foremost the service was absolutely wonderful and the server was extremely pleasant. Unfortunately the food was definitely not what I expected. The scallops weren't seared at all they were really chewy and over done. The pasta was dry and sticky and we tried asking for extra sauce but it didn't help. We were so excited to try this place out because we saw good reviews but we will definitely not be going back. I realize now maybe some of the reviews were from their friends because I did notice real reviews of people with similar experiences to mine. Again service was great but the food was definitely not worth the prices.
