Michael's Deli Seafood Brunswick

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My family and I placed our order at 6:05 PM, and our order number was 367. We waited an entire hour, and when I finally got up to inquire about our food, I received no clear answers. The staff kept saying "hold on" and would then walk to the kitchen without providing any information. Eventually, I discovered that the cashier hadn't communicated our order to the cook at all.

I ordered a salad, but the dressing spilled open in the bag, leaving me with a salad that had no dressing! When I called to let them know, they told me to come back for another dressing. Really? I'm supposed to waste gas driving from Darien just for that? They should be putting the dressing in the salad to begin with! If it spills, at least it would be on the salad. I don't think I'll be returning. There's too much inconsistency and not enough focus on customer care. I ended up throwing the salad away because it was just too dry without the dressing.

I visited my mom this weekend, and she suggested we check out this restaurant. All five of us ordered fish or shrimp entrees, and everyone agreed that the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, with generous portions. The hush puppies were among the best I've ever tasted. We also shared a side of fried zucchini, which was delicious. Both the ranch dressing and tartar sauce were fantastic as well.

Recently reopened. They were here at this location years ago. The food is very good. The prices are quite reasonable. Customer service is not bad at all. I would recommend coming to eat here and checking the place out!Food: 5/5
