Excellent food, service was spot on. It is nice to sit in the car and be spoiled . Haven 't had car hop service for many years, a nostalgic experience.

Family owned and down to earth staff. Always welcoming with great customer service! The food is great go to fried seafood. Not too greasy and the seafood always tastes fresh. Never fishy. The sandwiches are great The wraps are great The baskets haddock and scallops are great and some of my favorites Their desserts are made in house and so good when I actually remember to leave room for them. Get the bread pudding if they have it! Dine in or take out is great. Carhop service available if you don't mind eating in your car. Inside is a decent dining area with tables and booths. Outdoor deck is nice unless someone is smoking in their car ...yuck. I recommend trying this place if you would like down home cooking in a relaxed environment. Only use the restroom if you absolutely have to. It's small like an airplane restroom.

My new favorite place for a lobster roll or some fried shrimp. The rules are simple, they are clearly posted. It has been drive in etiquette forever, that when you want service, you put your lights on. There are literally 12 signs posted and I'm not sure why the other reviewers have such issues. It's not the restaurant, it's you. Back to business. Amazing staff. The ladies are very nice and great at their jobs. They're friendly and attentive. The food is stellar. They fry the items just right. I've never had such perfect fried scallops. Their cocktail sauce is fresh and not to spicy. I even dig their ketchup packets. Different than the usual. My wife REALLY likes the lobster rolls and the price is very reasonable. The lobster is fresh and good size pieces. I've only had one better in Maine and that was twice the cost and an hour away. I've been twice now and plan on being a regular. I can't wait to hit this place on a night this summer and then follow it up with Fielder's Choice on the way home. I highly recommend it over most places along the coast, north of Portland. You'll be glad you checked it out.

We went here for the first time tonight! The Resturant needs an over haul. Rod iron tables are not wiped between customers. Food all over the outside deck, that was not swept off between customers.Ours was dirty. Took a napkin to try and wipe it down, it was black. Ants crawling on the outside railings. Ordered a basket of Fish Chips (grilled, not fried) had enough chips for two people, however the fish(even though it tasted good) was about 3oz. at best for a price of over $15.00. They need to close and clean the place up. SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO TO Taste of Maine. instead. Will NEVER go back.
