My friend and I always make it a point to indulge in a hot chocolate while exploring Bruges, but this time we had to wait a long time for a waiter to take our order. When we finally received our drinks after a 25-minute wait, we realized they were lattes instead of the hot chocolates we had requested. The waiter insisted that we had ordered lattes, despite our protests. He became increasingly rude and disrespectful, even going as far as to insult me. When I requested to speak to the manager, both waiters avoided us and refused to address the issue. The customer service was abysmal, and the waiters were unhelpful and impolite. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would advise others to steer clear as well, as there are better options available nearby.
Scandalous! lady taking our order in English, so I answer in English four pinch of beer please, and we are used by default 4 half litre of. blonde leffe! 10€ glasses! Never seen this be a trade, anywhere else in the belgium, when you are asked for 4 pints of beer or 4 50cl beers, you are served the shovel of the jupiler style, maes or primus! I think that as we were taken for tourists (see order in English) we were paid the high price! 40 euros for four beers! scandalous, I'm not advising anymore and I'm not going to put my foot on it anymore!
We visited this restaurant on Sunday november. we have visited Bruges at numerous locations and always consider a hot chocolate. at this opportunity we waited very long before a waiter came to us. He took our order (two hot chocolates) and we waited for him to bring our order. After waiting, I wanted to drink and go, so I paid for the two drinks. at the tasting we realized that it was two lattes (not hot chocolates we had ordered). the waiter then insisted that we had ordered what he brought to us and refused to accept that he had received the order wrong! then he abused me and said as old man respected me, but refused to knock. the other waiter was also less helpful and said they were busy. I had asked to talk to the manager (both waiters claim that they seemed to either believe me or sort out the problem. they went away from us and refused to enter into conversation we never come back here again. the customer service is terrible and the waiters are rude, rude and unhelpful. avoid than all costs, there are better (and cheaper) restaurants nearby.
