We had a delicious traditional Belgian meal here. Surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful which we enjoyed after a very busy day (sat outside)! Staff were great and we never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend!

We particularly liked the house's regional specialties. Since we were traveling in a group, we were able to taste and enjoy the various options on the regional menu.

This restaurant is in a beautiful location close to the canal with an enchanting interior, we had the chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection on an open fire and melted in the mouth. The staff were very pleasant and attentive even the annoying Italian waiter

Typical pricey tourist restaurant. You sit, eat, and never go back there again. The location is quite good, the service was efficient. The Italian waiter was a little bit too much into his I speak 25 languages... quite intrusive interaction with customers, at moments (what was supposed to be funny for him), annoying and disrespectful comments. The quality of the food was moderate. We were suggested to take mussels in green garlic buttery sauce... not bad at all, quite tasty... but outside was 32 Celsius. Maybe not the best suggestion to give. The portions were modest. Bottle of water 9 EUR, and you are not given an opportunity to order tap water but this is typical Belgian restaurant approach... I am not disappointed, however, there is huge room for improvement.

My friends and I visited Bruges last weekend and visited this resteraunt. We were a group of 9, so not small but this resteraunt were able to accommodate us easily. I must add that we had prebooked. Food was delicious, we all had different things. Some off the set menu and some not. This wasn’t a problem. The food was served in a timely manor and the staff were friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome. We were celebrating a friends 60th birthday, we had a cake which the staff were happy to deal with. Provided us with plates etc to eat it there. In fact they told us when we contacted them earlier to ask about the cake that had we given them more notice they would have arranged one, I honestly believe that this was the case. I noted that the staff were the same with all they’re customers. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area
