Maison Dandoy Tea Room Waffles

Best waffles I had in Brussels a place I must go whenever I'm in the city. Usually very busy during weekends and afternoons which naturally affects waiting time, both for seating and service nonetheless worth it.

Amazing waffles, more expensive that the one on the street, but worth every cent. There is a lovely sitting area upstairs. Highly recommended.

Every Sunday I usually come to the Sablon to look for my vanilla speculos, the same lady who has taken care of me since tj. Thank you Dandoy for your quality and qualified staff.

The best waffles in the centre of Brussels, more expensive than in the streets but for good reasons! Have your waffles plain, as the locals (like myself) do, if you want to fully enjoy their taste and texture. Drowned in chocolate or vanilla ice cream, it wouldn't be the same... The place is also famous for its spéculoos and its pain à la grecque, two Belgian specialities.

The restaurant upstairs opens for breakfast at 11:00 and we got there around 10:55 and waited in line. We were the first ones! We got a table just a minute after 11:00 AM and our breakfast was delicious!
