It was a wonderful experience - from the entry to the interiors to the customer service, the menu and the food itself. Everything stayed true to the Royal theme. Highly recommended. The only glitch being they didnt accept credit cards.

A friend took us here and we were enchanted right away. Okay the proprietor is eccentric, but I loved it. The food and service were some of the best we've ever had. I ordered the Tafelspitz "Alt Wien", which is how they prepared it in the old days. The meat was tender and juicy and the whole meal made me happy. My friends both had the Schnitzel Parade and reported that they were impressed. The restaurant itself is beautifully furnished and full of atmosphere. Next time I'm in Austria, and there WILL be a next time, I will make a point of coming here again.

This restaurant had incredible customer service. The food was good and the atmosphere inviting. Would return if in Kapfenberg again.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Have been there now over 8 times. the staff know us by name and know what we like to order. its always fun and happy.

The restaurant tries to bring back some of the old imperial time which ended in 1918.It’s interesting the least and the interior has a lot of mementoes from the past.Service is kind of slow, food is nicely served but average.The day before I had dinner in the Schicker restaurant just around the corner, about the same priceBut the food was excellent. Needless to say where I will have dinner again.
