Village Grill - Village Hotel Nottingham

I stopped by to grab a drink at this restaurant, but I'm going up to my room since I'm staying in the hotel where it's located. The server was lovely and provided very quick service. Even though it was mid-afternoon and there were plenty of choices, I had to settle on a cake and a drink due to my allergies.

The chai tea latte was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy with a convenient place to charge your phone. However, it was disappointing that there were no restrooms available. Due to this inconvenience, I would not choose to return to this restaurant.

The drinks at this Starbucks were not up to par with other locations. My son ordered a cookies and cream frappuccino, but it only tasted creamy without any cookie flavor. My daughter's hot chocolate was of poor quality, lacking in flavor and requiring additional sugar. My flat white was just average. We were disappointed to find that there was no Village Gym discount to make it worth returning.

It's a Starbucks in a hotel! It's not as busy as the high street but the service is fast, better than the hotel bar!

Friendly staff although service was a little slow. Coffee was as expected and no issues at all. I appreciate it’s within the hotel although managed separately as it’s a franchise but it’s only open 6am to 6pm which is a shame! They are missing a lot of possible trade as they are closed when most people are arriving at the hotel to check in and also trade from the large number of people that visit the visit the hotels gym in the evenings. If it was open when I arrived at the hotel every evening after work I’d have given it a higher rating overall.
