Best food in Brownwood. Everything was very fresh and homemade. Nice to have found this place! Limited seating can call for execution. We'll be back!

Fresh lemonade, friendly service, fresh bread and sandwiches. Soup of the day was potato, it was very good! Huge portions worth the more than reasonable price for what you get! Have already spread the word again! Friendly memories bring cash!! You don't take cards!

The food is always fresh and amazing. A warm atmosphere and friendly service. I appreciate the efforts that Steve's made to keep us safe. While I miss the Dine-in experience, I will continue to use their take-out service until we can dive safely. Had on Sunday a special contract of “Texas Twinkies”. They were so good and the Horseradish Cream Sauce was a perfect addition. So glad I got my order before they sold out!

We have the San Juan and a chicken salad sandwich. Both were very good! The side of black beans and rice was also really good, especially if I didn't know what to expect! Great fresh tea too. We met a very friendly neighborhood cat during waiting that added to the entire experience. The owner was super friendly. All definitely recommend!

Always good quality, I have never been disappointed in the food, service, or the atmosphere. It's been a local favorite for over 20+ years. They are now taking payment with bank/credit cards.
