Ihop - Brownsville

Great place to eat late. Sometimes they ignore the fact you need a drink. One night a couple sitting next to us were loud and unruly. The female kept yelling and making faces at us. I'm disabled. Her man friend felt embarrassed and paid for our food. He showed class.

This is my wife's favorite place for breakfast. Good service and the food is delicious.

The staff provided excellent service, they were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent.

Service by the waitresses were fantastic. She was prompt and friendly. Just the cooks in the back need more work. Ordered a burger (my mistake, I had gotten confused with the burgers from Dennys) and the burger was small and pathetic. It had a wedge of avocado placed on the burger, patty was small and greasy and the entire order took forever. I'd recommend ihop for pancakes, waffles, biscuits, and breakfast but not lunch food. The 3 stars are for cleanliness, good service, but it's the cooks in the back that were lacking. 10.99 for a mid burger and cold, sad fries wasn't worth it but the waffles and pancake were great. The other location in town is better.

My sister n I will never forget that the morning we went to IHOP right next to sunrise mall in a short break that we got from my brothers funeral, the waiter in us first in a way outrunning he really approached a smile on our face, in a short time I think he noticed our sadness n heard us talk about our pain? Suddenly during waiting for our food he brought us a written message on an open paper bag, we read it and honestly when we read that we really felt the hug of all, that was very appreciated and will this feeling in our hearts forever....then I feel for the attitude of people like Jose Luis even tho we still cheat what he did for us this morning, will be kept in our hearts forever.... so true Jose Luis for every centimeter of mourning lies a foot of happiness.... Thank you.
