Ooka Asian Cuisine - Broomfield

We've been coming here for 10 years. The sushi is always great. The service can be great or really bad... But this is the times we live in. We need people to care and love more!

Our server, whose name I got, but sadly forgot, was exquisite! When we were seated, she explained that there was only 10 more minutes of Happy Hour, and envisaged us to place our order quickly, so we could get the best deal. She patiently answered all of our questions, and even got us an extra orchid to taste, once she explained to us that the decorative flower on our plate was edible! Our sushi was super delicious, and we'll definitely my be going back!

Service was terrible. I felt rushed looking over the menu as every 30 sec someone came by to check on me. I definitely don't want to be ignored but this was excessive and very annoying. As such I left a %15 tip instead of a %20 tip just to find out days later that the server helped themselves to an extra dollar on said tip which was not authorized by me. Such a terrible business practice.

Food was excellent. Been there several times. I like the tempura. Wife likes Thai peanut items. Beware that they are not open Mondays. Lots of sushi items.

Perhaps I should have known when I walked in was 1 of 2 people eating there. I orded the lunch special. The salad was warm....the soup cold and mu spicy tuna didn't taste fresh or even look like Tuna. It was all mashed up. I was disappointed w my experience compared to the Sushi Restaurants. I won't go back.Parking: The lot was upkeep. No pride in the setting
