Hacienda Colorado - Broomfield

The food is consistently excellent! However, it appeared that they were short-staffed during Saturday lunch. The wait time was longer than anticipated. Despite several open tables, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated with a party of six. Additionally, it took quite a while for the food to arrive, and it wasn't all served at the same time.

We brought some friends along and ended up ordering seven drinks and four entrees, which totaled over $200—not including the tip. That price would have been reasonable if there had actually been seafood in the entrees. The chimichangas were lacking in meat, and the steak fajitas were quite skimpy as well. It’s a shame because we’re not eager to return, except maybe for a margarita during happy hour.

I met a colleague here for dinner, and we had a great time. We both opted for the three-taco plate—my choice was shrimp, while he went for the steak. I would definitely recommend both!

My wife and I have the chili riano plate and it is Sooooo good. Great atmosphere and a fair price. This is our go to place.
