This place has gone way down. Frankly it's disgusting. They have 20 tables and charging $30 per plate, equating to $4,000 plus an hour in revenue when busy. That's $30k plus a day on a busy day. Had a reservation at 6:45pm, sat down at 7:05pm. They have a 10 minute grace period but not for seating customers. The chef finally showed up at 7:35pm and was the least happy person in the place. Clearly burned out and hated his job. Food was sub-par and didn't taste good. Soup was not Miso, salad dressing seemed old and cooked food was smaller then normal portions. The front waiting room is like a dungeon with the most disgruntled person operating the host station. I just want to know where is revenue goes, clearly not on staff, facilities or food. Another restaurant that needs to be closed due to poor management and owners. Capitalism will put this gross place out of business and all should avoid this. The experiences you had years ago will not be recreated here. Save your money and time. Don't waste 3 hours on a horrible experience and pay premium in prices on food.
6:30 reservations didn’t get any food til 7:15 which was hard with kids. Chef seemed annoyed and turned off by my talkative son who thought he was hilarious and was trying to play along. Food was cold by the time the food was all done. Server was nice, food was good but overall not that great an experience
