The Lockup - Broome

Lovely little café hidden away next to the old Lockup of Broome. You can visit the actual cells inside the old building which is preserved well and are now used as offices. A locals favourite with great coffee. The speciality is the cold drip coffee which flavour is very soft and delicate. Can easily be drunk without milk (says a passionate latte drinker...), a nice and refreshing treat in the Broome heat. The menu is small, food is good but lacks creativity which you'd expect in a special setting like this.

We stopped by for a coffee before heading to Cape Leveque.Excellent coffee... great flavour, good temp and well made. Home blend beans used apparently.Breakfast available, as well as a selection of sweats (we had a muffin... It was ok).Disappointed we didn't get back for breaky and another coffee.Parking can be tricky but an easy walk from the main streets of Broome.

My husband loved having breakfast here. The poached eggs and salmon were delicious and generous. Coffee worth coming back several times for. Very popular with the locals and a little hidden away near the old lockup and Police station. Look for the big boab tree.

Proper barista coffee and a small but damn tasty menu for brekky and lunch. We had both the nasi goreng and beef redang and both were filling, flavoursome, and in a rarity for Broome- at east coast prices. Don't miss the outstanding mural out back!

I loved this place - it would rival any Melbourne cafe. it was seriously the best place I visited in Broome, I'm just sorry i found it on my last day. It's also got a great relaxing setting and fast service. So good!I had the zucchini and corn fritters and a cold brew coffee. Perfect execution
