M&j Donair - Brooks

The best donair I've ever had! I'm originally from Medicine Hat and was visiting Calgary when I decided to stop by MJ Donair in Brooks. It was absolutely fantastic! I truly had the best donair ever. I just wish we had a place like that in Medicine Hat!

This is a fantastic alternative to traditional fast food! The donair had just the right amount of spice.

The Donair here is absolutely amazing. They always take the time to freeze the meat and trim the edges perfectly. The vegetables are always fresh, and the sweet sauce is excellent. I highly recommend everyone to try it!

This restaurant does not meet the standards for a quality Donair experience. The hygiene is lacking, and I have unfortunately gotten sick after multiple visits. I sampled various items from the menu, and the quality was consistently inconsistent. If you’re seeking authentic Shawarma and Donairs, this place falls far short. The food and service quality do not align, and the wait times are quite lengthy.

I might have visited on an off day, but they were out of everything... no chicken for the shawarma, no fries, not even salad. The garlic sauce was tasty, but I wondered how long it had been sitting out. I'm sorry, but I won't be coming back.
