OMG. Went to have some chicken, but they had none the night I went in so I had the brisket tacos. 2 hours later I still have the meat sweats. So good. The brisket was so juicy it kept running out of the taco onto the tray liner. Next time I may try the pork ones or hopefully they have the chicken. The time before I the. brisket sandwich and a rack of ribs. Let me tell you they do ribs right. Coleslaw was good, I prefer mine woth more vinegar but this would likely appeal to more people.

Placed a large order for our hockey team staying in Brooks for a tournament. The food was hot, fresh, and ready on time for pickup. Excellent quality smoked meats (the brisket was a huge hit) and sides. The pudding for dessert was a delectable bookend to the meal. I've had a lot of BBQ over the years and I'm not kidding when I say that this is hands down my new favorite spot. We had heard good things so we drove down from Calgary to try it out. If this is your first time, bring a couple friends and get the Tailgater platter and a burger to share. It's a little bit of everything and you'll be able to figure out what to order more of once you dig in. The brisket is ridiculously tender and juicy, the ribs were perfectly done, and the pulled pork won over my daughter who typically doesn't love pork. The chicken was perfect, not overcooked, and everything is fresh. Imagine a good friend of yours moved to Alberta from the south and welcomed you into their home for a home cooked meal. Now you've got the picture. The bread is perfect for soaking up the juices and the burger comes on a bun that has the perfect texture. Save room for desert, the carrot cake and cookies were the perfect ending to the meal. No surprise since this is also a bakery. Jesse and the team are super friendly as are the customers here. We really liked the way they explained everything on the platter as it came out. This is one of those restaurants worth driving out of town for. Do it and thank me later.
