Gus' Steak & Pizza House - Brooks

Pizza is great as well as the homemade food. Homemade crust and 2 for 1 pizza always. A lot of the appetizers however are preformed and frozen deepfried ****. Stay away from them

Gus' has been a staple in Brooks for many years. The food is always spectacular and service is great. I recommend the zany bread. You wont be disappointed

We stopped here on a Cross Country road trip and were impressed with the pleasant ambiance and friendly service from Nicole. The restaurant offers a good selection of food in addition to steaks and pizza’s and the meals were reasonably priced. It is located within walking distance of our Motel and we enjoyed our time. It is recommended as a good service, good value restaurant

Stopped in off the highway for lunch. No patrons in the dining room, two people in the lounge. Normally this would send us running but we decided to give it a try. The place is very clean, service attentive, lots of variety on the menu. But the fries tasted like they were out of a bag( frozen,) the burger was so lean as to be tasteless. I don't understand why more restaurants don't serve chuck burgers. So much more juicy and flavourful. I ordered the donair. The meat was very tasty but I was expecting lots of veggies. There was a ton of meat, too much actually, a bit of chopped onion and tomato and tasty garlic sauce. No lettuce, no pickled turnip, no hot sauce. Could have been so much better.

Ordered from here because we wanted a non chain pizza for supper at our hotel. Pretty good pizza! It says it's 2 for 1 but when I think 2 for 1, I think cheap, thin pizza. This pizza is not like that at all. Good crust, loads of toppings and cheese. I like my sauce a little more on the spicer side but would defiantly order again.
