Westlight - Brooklyn

This place has such an amazing view. The appetizers and entrees were delicious and cocktails were great too. Really recommend the octopus skewers and the Thai roast chicken. Staff were friendly but could have been more attentive with our orders because by the time my friend’s entrees arrived I was almost done with mine, even though I did wait a bit for them to get theirs but they said to go ahead because otherwise it would get cold. Must have forgotten to put in their orders, and didn’t check up on us until after we were done with our meals. Plus it did interfere with the fact that you only have 90 minutes at the table. Dessert could have been better. After all, this place is a must-try and it’s located within the William Vale hotel so make sure you got a reservation. Will definitely give it a second try.

Amazing rooftop/outdoor space. Food was good, too. Cocktail choices for a non-whisky lover can be limited. Remember to make your reservation ahead of time and enjoy some of the best night lights in Brooklyn. Also this one does not charge you gratuities automatically, unlike some of the other bars that we went to on Manhattan island. So give generously if the services you receive is good.

Westlight is a dream.I made a reservation for our group of 5 for a cold, winter night and the representative honored my request of having a front view seat of the view as we we're celebrating my friend's return from his deployment in the military. The view we were sat by was a 180 view of the city, and hands down the best rooftop bar view I've seen of NYC. That's to say a lot because as a native New Yorker, I'd like to say I've been to close to all of them.Westlight doesn't feel gimmicky like most rooftop bars. The menu and food prices were average and not over hiked. The ambiance was casual and the decor was warm and glowing. The staff were helpful and prompt; one chased me down to return my purse I almost left behind.Now, we couldn't stand more than 2 minutes of being in the outdoor area of the rooftop in the freezing cold, but I know it must be an epic view in the warmer seasons.Overall, a 10/10. Can't wait to visit this summer.

Four friends and myself went here for dinner and drinks, was fantastic. The staff couldnt have been more accommodating, the food the drinks and especially the view were amazing. I will for sure come back in the summer

Unreal view has to be one of the best in the city. cocktails are also incredibly diverse and tasty
