There are not many options for a drink in Coney Island (Coney Island Brewery, Freak Bar, Footprints) but definitely not about Red Doors. It has a funky vibe... in a good way. There is a decent beer selection and although I did not order food, they have a complete menu. There were some pretty hefty speakers in evidence, so I guess there are DJ nights... and maybe even live music. While hanging around the bar, I usually heard Ukrainian/Russian. The bartenders were friendly and I have the feeling that the girls would be open for a conversation. Maybe next time!
We were in New York for a few days and decided to come to Coney Island. We went to the sidewalk and saw this place. We decided to try and not disappoint! The mood, customer service, food, EVERYTHING was amazing! Dmitry (the owner) is super friendly! Definitely recommend anyone looking for great food.
The food was excellent. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious. The roll was just right. They had a good variety of beers and wines as well as some mix drinks. The service was also good. No complaints there.
Went here with my family and had a terrible time. We had a toddler with us and ordered her apple juice only for it to come all watery as did all of our drinks. When we tried to return them given the low quality of the sodas, the waiter told us he was unable to do that as the manager didn't allow it even if the drinks did not taste good whatsoever. The never specify whether or not refills are free (spoiler: they are not). It would've been nice to have a head's up. The menu does state that they automatically charge 10% as a tip. Overall the waiter didn't seem to know what he was doing and while the food was alright, nothing to write home about honestly, the service wasn't good. You're better off going to the Popeyes across the street to save yourself some money and dignity.
