The Pearl Room - Brooklyn

We had our wedding here at the beautiful Pearl Room and I must say, IT WAS A HIT!! The owner and staff were on point and very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. My guest couldn't stop talking about how much of a great time and experience they had. My husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary right back here. Valet parking was a huge help seeing parking in this area is difficult.

I came here for a Birthday Celebration. They served us very well. The food was really delicious. I had a salmon dish with Mashed Potatoes and vegetables. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who want to enjoy a delicious dinner in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Here's a photo of the main dish I had tonight.

The food was good but the service is terrible. I came here with my partner for valentine day. It took 20 minutes for the appetizer to come out , 20 minutes for the main course , 15 minutes for dessert and 10 minutes to ask our credit cards back. The bus boys don't speak English at all. We have not even had our main course and one of the bus boy was asking for our dessert and check. Only the front lady( host and waitress) was the nice one . Not recommended . Horrible service.

Very disappointing experience . They only had a pre fix menu since it was mother's day. The selections were not of a wide variety. The serivice was not existent. The protion size was tiny for appetizer. The crab cake was a size of a quarter. Main course was decent portion but it was obviously prepared hours earlier and the side vegetables were cold. Dessert was very tasty however again the portion was a half of a cheesecake. In summary got overpriced meal with horrible service and half portion appetizer and dessert.

Believe the one star reviews, and note that many of the recent five star reviews say nothing specific and come from people with no prior account history. Just saying. We came here to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Hard to imagine a worse choice. The place was almost empty on a Saturday night bad sign right there. The service was really slow all throughout the meal, and brought the wrong appetizer and the waiter growled at us and blamed it on us for not being clearer with our order (or something). Then they messed up one of the entrees, but at least the waiter didn't blame that one on us (because we didn't tell him). For a while, there was a rowdy drunken crowd at the bar in front, screaming along to the music that was playing over the speakers. I gather from the other reviews that this is a normal occurrence. And there was a DJ setting up equipment on the dining floor at 8 p.m., during dinner. The food was nothing special, and one appetizer the oyster and shrimp platter was so bad that it bordered on inedible. The bill for 4 people was $360. Too late for a refund, but needless to say we won't be returning.
