When I’m visiting Brooklyn Museum, I eat here. The portion is quite big and food are not bad. But sometimes it can be very crowded and hard to relax.
Unlike the usual dine in America, the food at The Norm is light on heavy oils and flows effortlessly to the taste buds. Carefully cooked and marinaded fish paired with a tender chicken salad, seasoned well with fresh nutty hints and surprising crunches, is the perfect compliment to an evening greeting with friends or loved ones in the restaurant’s intimate and chic interior. If you’re looking for large steaks and fatty full portions, the menu at The Norm may disappoint. But for what it offers, The Norm is a five star dining experience hiding inconspicuously in the lobby of the Brooklyn Museum, awaiting to be discovered.
Nice place to have lunch when visiting the wonderful Brooklyn museum. Food is nothing special, in fact a little tasteless and boring. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
