The Meat Hook - Brooklyn

I feel that the obvious meaning of “fast food” is completely lost at the Governors Island street food stand. Not only does it take forever to place an order, but the wait to actually get your food is even longer. If you're really hungry (because otherwise you would just go to a proper restaurant), you might want to consider going elsewhere or grazing like a cow, as that seems to be the closest experience you’ll get to actual dining here. As I write this, I've been waiting in line for over an hour, and my order was placed over 30 minutes ago (you can see the timestamp in my photo). At this rate, maybe I'll have to camp out overnight just to enjoy breakfast!

This is the best butcher shop in NYC! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I absolutely love it!

Fantastic place with unique menu options. The cookouts on Mondays are amazing!

It seems like this place serves chicken feet, which are actually quite beneficial for knee joint pain. However, a few of my friends plan to stop buying them soon.

If you have some extra cash and are looking for a fantastic piece of meat, along with delicious bacon and the creamiest ricotta you can find, this is the place to go.
