Taste The Tropics - Brooklyn

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Despite its outdated appearance, the food was delicious. I tried the guava and orange anaseis as well as a beef patty, both of which were very tasty. They also give a generous portion of ice with their drinks, making it a good value compared to other ice stores in NYC.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but the food quality is as disappointing as the customer service. A neighborhood gem that is let down by poor service. I've tried the Irish moss ice cream and peanut ice cream within the last two months, and both tasted the same - like nutmeg. I suggest they revisit their recipe. As for the customer service, the young staff here are slow and rude. They also don't seem to control the environment, as drunk men harass female customers in the restaurant. I am truly disappointed.

This is the third time I have ordered takeout from this restaurant, and each time they have failed to give the delivery driver the second bag containing the hot Jamaican patties, which are separate from the ice cream order. I hope they can improve their customer service and pay more attention to these details in the future.

Her ice is very rich and creamy, I will not buy her baked, but it is not always fresh, environment could do with something improvement, too much clutter behind the theke, there is an inconvenient appearance, except they are ok.

Check out the hand packed great nut. I don't know why but it tastes way better than the previous packed. I drive from queens into Brooklyn to get this
