Tabare Bushwick - Brooklyn

Came with my gf to Valentine's Day dinner here. it is a nice little place, dark ambiente with a cool private atmosphere. the staff was great, very attentive and friendly. with the food I have mixed feelings. we ordered 2 empanadas, 1 bark and 1 huh. they were both delicious. the drinks we ordered were also very good, a sangria and mojito, I think. now my mixed feelings come in. we ordered 2 different cuts of steak medium rare, the churrasco and the other I forgot (and cannot find it on their online menu.) what we received were 2 rare steaks and due to the dark environment we could not say immediately. everything was great beside the rare steaks. I would go back to try other items on their menu and update my review if necessary.

Cozy date point with a great menu and an extensive wine list. the personal was super nice and accommodating. have the steak with chimichurri, oktopus casserole, kale salat and bottle malbec. I wouldn't have asked for a better place to take my girl! 10/10 would recommend.

Do not sleep on tabaré! the huevos de campo and the chivito completo were incredible. we said wow bite at least 10 times during brunch. atmosphere, service and eating and drinks are all a .

Tabaré is an awesome hidden gem in Bushwick. Their menu is fantastic and the ambiance of the place is wonderful with dark/orange lighting and as beautiful bar. The cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the octopus casserole, seafood pasta, and whatever meats your heart desires!! Everything was absolutely delicious and they have great prices on bottles of wine. Our waiter was very friendly and we had a wonderful dinner, highly recommend!

Churrasco was on point nice that they have happy hour for cocktails. Cash only. Desert was innovative and paired well with a double espresso. I only wish they would serve the chocolate mousse in the cookie as a separate desert!
